mmh, it's so hard to tell which of your two manips i actually like better.
this one puts another emphasis on the whole scene.
the way she sucks the color out of the picture around her (it's not the other way round, right?)

if i'd have to decide, i'd say that the concept of the color-draining connects better to the idea of the death of wonderland.

but i still like both pictures!

You got it, she's part of the "real" world and when you stay in fantasy too long you begin to take something away from it. At least that's how I see it:)
