I started this costume for 2006 but didn't leave myself nearly enough time to work on it so it got pushed back a year...with a detour to plan my wedding and get married

All of the pieces I made from scratch, NO PATTERNS! The boots are the one big exception, I bought boots at Target and then painted them red and made the necessary additions.

Top to bottom, here are the pieces and any unusual work done:
Headband: Made from knit fabric with hand painting of dragon-ish logo
Fake bangs: Since mine are bleach blonde
Hair bands: Pink ones made with purchased blue elastics on top
Earrings: Bought at Claires, took them apart and used the base, added brown suede to the outside
Top: This was the MOST trouble! Hand painting of the dragon on the back that I am VERY proud of!!!
Gloves: Actually they are two pieces. The bottom layer is the red gloves with the cut off fingers glued to cut off socks, with the brown and yellow bands painted on. The top layer is the cuff with the silver ring attached.
Skirt/Fancy Loincloth: Hand painted dragon logo on front and back pieces. Adjusted a pair of white undies to work under the costume, wore them over my nylons.
Boots: Socks have hand painted brown and yellow bands, boots bought at Target and painted red. Added the cuffs on top and brown strappy thing over the top of the foot.
Halberd: For the weapon I used my color guard flag pole, covered it with red fabric, carved holes in styrofoam balls, painted them yellow, made blade out of cardboard and duct tape

I think that's all. Hope you like it, it was fun to finally put the whole thing together after so much work!
