Freedom and Chocolate for All

Fourth of July pictures are finally here! Wow, in the same month even
This is my cousin's little girl, Kendra. I had never met her before but as soon as I saw her I had to pull out my camera FYI, she is eating chocolate cake, not dirt or other nasty things.

I've never been very good at taking pictures of people...just never felt comfortable trying. So I decided to start with children, we'll see what you guys think of these before I start making my friends pose again.
This is what I think of when I hear "Fourth of July". Had to lighten this pic a bit in Photoshop.
